My Practice

I believe the built environment can do more than reduce its impact. It can restore nature, strengthen communities and become a catalyst for tackling the climate and nature crises.

I'm an architect, independent consultant and environmental advocate working at the intersection of design, policy and systems change. I help local authorities, design teams and industry organisations turn ambitious climate goals into practical action.

Over the past decade I've worked across architecture, local government and industry to develop climate strategies, support policy, deliver training and build partnerships that accelerate change.

How I work

The challenges facing the built environment cannot be solved through design, policy or advocacy alone. My work bridges all three - bringing together people, ideas and organisations to create practical solutions and lasting change.

    Environmental Strategy Lead for the winning C40 Reinventing Cities proposal, helping develop a regenerative vision for the transformation of Venice's historic Forte Sant'Andrea.

  • Circular Buildings Accelerator

    Removing the systemic barriers to circular construction by bringing together industry, government and the third sector to accelerate change across the built environment.

  • Circular Revolution

    A industry campaign led with UK Architects Declare, culminating in a landmark event on the London Eye to inspire action on circular construction.

  • UK Architects Declare

    Trustee of the charity representing over 1,400 UK architecture practices, helping shape national campaigns and policy initiatives that drive climate action across the profession.

  • Climate Training & Facilitation

    Designing and delivering climate training, workshops and stakeholder engagement for local authorities, design teams and industry organisations to build capacity and accelerate climate action.

  • Environmental Design Review

    Providing independent environmental and sustainability advice on major development proposals through Ealing Council's Design Review Panel, helping to create better places through design excellence and climate leadership.

  • Building Blocks Manifesto

    Co-authored and helped launch the UK Architects Declare Building Blocks Manifesto in Parliament, setting out practical policy recommendations to accelerate the transition to a regenerative, low-carbon built environment.

  • Speaking & Facilitation

    Regular speaker, chair and facilitator at industry conferences and events, including Futurebuild, creating engaging discussions that connect people, share knowledge and inspire climate action.

The transition to a regenerative and resilient future won't happen through individual projects alone. It will happen through collaboration, bold leadership and a willingness to rethink the systems that shape our places.
